Environment Sustainability
Environmental sustainability has been ingrained in our day-to-day operations. As one that relies on agricultural products for our business, we are continuously searching for ways to minimise our environmental footprint. We believe that this is of critical importance, and we must continue to allocate resources to create more environmentally friendly and sustainable products.
Our integrated sourcing units in the region give us access to low-cost factor inputs, with a focus on environmental responsibility. We, together with our partners in the supply chain, have attained the following certifications:
Social Responsibility
At CMM Global, we strive to make a difference in the lives of all whom we touch, from the rubber plantation owners, by helping them to manage their plantations more effectively, to all our employees, by ensuring their welfare is taken care of, to the communities we serve, by contributing and looking after the underprivileged there.
Recently, the North East Community Development Council (NECDC, part of the Singapore Government’s community support set-up) approached us to participate in its Project Refresh initiative to improve the living conditions of those in need. We are pleased to have provided our expertise to design, produce and install customised furniture for some underserved families with young children, elderly and members with special needs.
